I think a biographical statement is really just a statement about moments in time and the most important moment, as we all know, is the present one. Then, life is not about the past, but about the present, and where one goes from there. So right now I am a writer, and that’s a very cool moment.

I love reading, watching, writing and thinking about science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, horror and great stories that tell me something that I didn’t know about myself or about life, or of things I haven’t even thought of yet. There are still great mysteries out there, explorations and journeys to be had.

J.D. Cavan lives in Westchester NY, and when he’s not steeped in the field of depth and forensic psychology, he is delving into the world of fantasy and science fiction writing. His experience in the forbidden places of the mind has helped him face his greatest challenge yet, that of fiction writing.
